Initial Plan

Table of Contents

With the help of Gemini, I’ve finally deployed my personal blog! Now that the infrastructure is up, I have some concrete ideas about how I want to maintain this space.

The Content Strategy

I plan to write primarily in English here, with a Chinese version mirrored on Zhihu.

  • English Version: Hosted here. Drafted by me, refined by Gemini.

  • Chinese Version: Posted on Zhihu. Translated by Gemini, polished by me.

My decision to write in English stems from a desire to improve my writing skills. Since most of the Computer Science resources I consume are in English, it feels natural to take my notes in the same language.

In the future, I plan to upgrade this blog to include bilingual support (switching between Chinese and English) and make other improvements. However, due to my limited frontend knowledge, I have to temporarily shelve these plans.

Computer Science

This blog will serve as a documentation of my CS coursework and projects.

CS61b (Data Structures): I am currently deep into CS61B and working on Project 2: Gitlet. Once I finish, I will write a summary focusing on the architectural challenges I faced and how I solved them. If time permits before finals, I also plan to:

  • Review the implementation of Doubly-Linked Lists and Array Lists (Project 1).

  • Compile notes on the data structures covered in the course.

CS61a: I’ve finished this course, but I want to revisit the Scheme Interpreter project. I plan to document its logic and structure, likely during the winter break.

CS61c: Maybe I’ll start learning this course in winter break.

Mathematics & Other Interests

Linear Algebra: Our school’s 8-week course felt too rushed. While I find Linear Algebra profound and fascinating, I have to be strategic.

The workload for next semester is high, so I will pause my deep dive here. However, I will revisit it someday (definitely).

Calculus: I plan to prioritize previewing Multi-variable Calculus. I decide to follow MIT 18.02 over the winter break and will share my study notes here (although I found calculus isn’t so that interesting).

Music & Movies recommendation: It depends.
